The Bandicoots @ This Ain’t Hollywood
Friday August 18th 2017

Bandicoots

I’ve seen these gents play multiple times, their music will get you up on the dance floor and start moving your feet with out you even realizing it.

They are still relatively new so they had an opportunity to go in a different direction and experiment in their latest album. As they mature as a band I can only see prosperity for them.

Niko and the Bin @ The Masque Jazz and Wine Bar
Saturday August 18th 2017

Robin

These guys, really can play. Every Saturday I try and check them out and they’re up there having themselves a great time. Fantastic space too and a very large patio outside.

Bin

The best part of the entire night is you never know who is going to show up and start jamming. Always a fantastic evening out and worth checking out on Saturday Night.

Naughty Nights with Ginger St James @ Lou Dawgs
Saturday August 19th 2017

Ginger_St_James

It feels like I’ve know Ginger for a lifetime, but she has been recently been playing at Lou Dawgs as a regular fixture and I love watching her play and sing. She definitely brings the Rhythm, Blues & certainly the rock n roll to Hess village on Saturday night.

If you love Rockabilly / Blues / oldies rock She is your gal to see on Saturday.

Jumple Live @ This Ain’t Hollywood
Saturday August 19th 2017
Jumple

If you’re looking for a high energy evening on a Saturday night, look no further than seeing Jumple play live @ This Ain’t Hollywood. Amazing, energetic & Entertaining these guys bring the rain when it comes to making sure you are well taking care of on your evening out.

It is a well worth investment and the audience is fabulous.

A day in Venice

A day in Venice, one of my first paintings I did, a mixture of different styles and wide use of shades and colours were used to draw out experience of being of being in venice.

Prints of this piece are available and would look great in any area of your home. A day in Venice would be a great gift for anyone who has a love for the European lifestyle. The pop of colour stands out and you can’t feel anything but love.

1. Extract value from your purchases

Everything that we spend money on holds a certain value in our lives. It’s up to us to determine, however, what is necessary versus what is superfluous when it comes to our expenditure. For example, we can buy food because we are hungry or because we are bored and feel like eating. We can purchase clothes that we want because they’re trendy, or because we need them. We can buy a glass of wine because we are genuinely craving one, or because everyone around us is drinking and we feel like we should join.”

Success & failure

Success has its merits but failure / disappointment has been a far better companion these day.

Set backs / failures / disappointment, whatever you decide to call it has taught me to never be satisfied with your current status.

But never allow the concept of failure be the sole reason for not trying. Keep exploring / experimenting and evolving as a human.

You will never get it right the first time. You will fail but you will learn and adapt to every situation that occurs in your life.

Learn how to take it as it is, go with the flow and remember you’re always a work in progress.

Inspired by Nature

A lot of the art I produce is inspired by nature. These four pieces are 5 x 7 and are inspired by the flowers my parents keep in their garden. My mother has a lot of pride and passion for gardening. Each flower is like an extended member of the family.

I take that pride and sense of passion into my own work. Carefully crafting each piece and trying to add its own personality, until it has taken a life of its own.

These four are available for purchase, for size info and other inquiries you can email me at Valleytownmedia@gmail.com
